Information stored on your device

The app stores your preferences and devotional progress locally on your device. This can include your selected translation, theme, favorites, verse history, streak and badge progress, reminder settings, and a cached supporter status for faster launch.

The app does not require an account and does not use a custom backend for the core verse experience.

Bible text and daily reminders

The verse library is bundled with the app. Daily reminders are local iOS notifications scheduled by the app after notification permission is granted. Notification settings can be changed in the app or in iOS Settings.

Advertising and privacy choices

Free users may see banner ads served by Google AdMob. Google may process ad-related data such as device identifiers, ad interactions, approximate location derived from IP address, diagnostics, and performance information. Where required, the app uses Google's User Messaging Platform to request consent and show privacy choices.

Supporter users do not see in-app banner ads while their supporter status is active.

Purchases

Optional supporter purchases are handled by Apple StoreKit. Apple processes payment information and purchase validation. Daily Bible Verses does not receive or store your payment card details.

The app may store a local cached supporter status so ads can be hidden quickly after launch. StoreKit entitlements remain the source of truth for active supporter status.

Support messages

If you submit the support form, the message you provide is sent to the app developer for support purposes. The form asks for your name, email address, topic, and message so a reply can be sent when needed.

Hosting providers may keep ordinary technical logs for security and reliability.

Children

Daily Bible Verses is not directed to children under 13. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
